Okay, so i’m opening up the blog to questions from anyone, newbies to experts, affiliate’s to merchants. Ask me whatever you want about me, affiliate marketing, uni, life…whatever you want. I will answer them (within reason depending on the questions).
Ideally the questions will be centered around affiliate marketing
.

How are students dealing with the credit crunch? Has it affected students at all? Are they exempt from normal economic issues?
Nice question Diane, will definately answer that in the next blog post!
You may know I’m a final year student trying to balance a job, dissertation, assignments, affiliate marketing, seeing the missus and most importantly, socialising! How on earth do you do it mate? How much time do you spend on affy marketing and how long has it taken you to get to this point? If a student were to start now, what advice would you give them?
Also (sorry!), what do you envisage yourself doing after you finish uni, and do you think it’s important to complete your degree considering the success you’re having already?
How do you plan your day? Do you have a team of people working on various things or is it a one man band show? Do you design and develop your websites or get it done from someone else.
Cheers,
Mike
Have you got any travel websites ?
Is there already / do you think there will ever be some academic courses on affiliate marketing, e.g. a Batchelors Degree
Hi Max
I operate several very basic websites connected to furniture and printing. I have so far avoided affiliates because it just seemed likely to involve paying out more than ever receiving, so I never investigated it much.
How can I start putting affiliate advertising on my websites without much risk? I don’t anticipate making much from it, but enough to help running costs with my websites covering part of the newspaper advertising etc.
Thanks
Paul
Hi Paul
There isnt much risk involved your side, you wont pay to put the ads on your site, you simply sign up to a affiliate network for free, place ads on your site, if a user on your site clicks the link/banner etc and purchases you get a % of what they purchase.
If you drop me an email with details of your site i’ll recommend you which network and programmes/merchants to work with and what they will pay you.
